One of the things that playing games with my kid has taught me over the last couple of years is that it definitely takes planning and some preliminary legwork. She has finally decided that Terraria is dissimilar enough from Minecraft (and its tree chopping and lava pits). It’s only been after watching 80-odd episodes of Stampy’s Let’s Play that Pea has said that she would like to play the game in earnest. Oddly enough very little playing of the game has actually taken place since I first started talking about Stampy back in March. He also wrote the introduction for GWR Gamer's Edition 2019.With summer break looming and with my daughter’s (Pea) recent discovery of Stampy Cat’s Terraria Let’s Plays (thanks to the research that I was doing for an earlier NYMG piece) there has been a lot of Terraria going on in my house. He also holds another world record for "Most viewed Terraria video" (pointing out to the first episode of the series) with 9,593,008 views as of 24th April. During his visit, he set his world record for the "Fastest time to make and display 10 cakes in Minecraft (PC edition)", in which he succeeded with the time of 3 minutes and 51 seconds. Stampy collaborated with Guinness World Records on 3rd April 2018 when he visited their headquarters in London. He occasionally posts updates on the novel series' progress on his Twitter account. A series of videos dedicated to the novel series' development, Book Diary, soon premiered after. In August 2018, Garrett announced that he is working on his novel series. The first book, Stampy's Lovely Book, was released on 22nd October 2015, while the second book, Stick with Stampy!, was released on 18th July 2016. In September 2015, Garrett has made a deal with Egmont, a publisher of children's books and magazines in the UK, to publish two books under the Stampy brand. Let's Cress - a channel dedicated to cress, which was started as a joke in one of his series.MagicAnimalClub - a behind-the-scenes and podcast channel that is co-hosted with iBallisticSquid.stampylongnose - his then-main channel that is now home to his vlogs, mostly with Sqaishey.Sqaishey was a guest star in one of the episodes of the series' second season. Stampy also starred in the Minecraft edutainment web series, Wonder Quest, which was created in partnership with Disney's Maker Studios. Sqaishey has appeared on Stampy's channel, especially when associated with the "Den" series. Stampy has his own Youtube channel, where he does Let's Play's of various games, including Minecraft, where he has worlds, including Stampy's Lovely World, the counterpart of Feather Adventures. Series with Sqaishey Sqaishey's channel Minecraft She then soon appeared in Stampy's Lovely World and later series, including Cave Den, Ocean Den, Space Den, and Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles. Their first series together on that channel is Sky Den. Sqaishey also plays a huge part in Stampy's channel. During and after the series has ended, they created more together, spawning new series featuring both of them such as Twins and A Duck and A Cat. Their first series together on the channel was Super Happy Fun Time. Stampy has a huge part in Sqaishey's channel, having to appear in most series with them. Stampy's Minecraft skin is the character Fidget from Dust: An Elysian Tail, but his appearance looked more like an "orange and white cat", thus the Stampy Cat character.
